Marilou Dadat’s practice grew from an early sensitivity to materials, colour and making, shaped by growing up in a rural French village surrounded by artisans and nature.

Her multidisciplinary career brings together couture embroidery, textile design and creative direction, with experience at Dice Kayek, Alexander McQueen, Vogue Paris, Kowtow, Tekla and Bonpoint. Her approach balances artistic exploration with strategic and cultural insight, connecting storytelling and product.

After years of leading teams and shaping brand vision, she is returning to a more hands-on practice of drawing, textiles and material design.

She now runs an independent art and design studio in Copenhagen, working with brands across fashion and home on commissioned and independent projects.
